In this fun, live class, we will encourage one’s personal perspective and creative process through exploring the Museum’s diverse and unique collection of wildlife art. Each student will select a work of art that speaks to them and create an original piece. One that reflects their own unique vision rooted in how the work inspires them creatively, visually, emotionally, and personally. How do you see it through your own eyes? Students will be introduced to working with colored pencils, watercolors, and ink by learning techniques on how to incorporate them together. What to expect? A judgement-free atmosphere encouraging creativity and personal vision! There will be an open discussion centered on process and what inspired your choices.
This class will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. on March 3, in the Museum Classroom.
Make it Wild courses are open to adults and young adults with beginner to intermediate abilities. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during this interactive program.
