Join SCLT History Program Manager Kevin Knapp for the very first guided walking tour of the Sheridan Railroad Historic District. This inaugural tour will explore the people, industries, and landmarks that helped shape Sheridan into a vital rail hub of the American West.

The tour begins at Grinnell Plaza (55 Grinnell Plaza), just outside Sheridan City Hall, on June 20 at 1:00 p.m. From there, participants will walk approximately ¾ mile through the historic district—primarily on sidewalks and paved surfaces—uncovering stories of early railroad development, local entrepreneurs, and the enduring legacy of rail transportation in the community. The tour is expected to last between 45 minutes and an hour. There are places along the tour where you can sit and rest.

This tour will also be offered on July 18 and August 15.

It is your time to shine. You will appreciate all the glory at The Lincoln during The Dead South on Sunday, 21st June 2026. Believe us, when we say it's going to be a spectacular presentation. The Regina-based Canadian folk-bluegrass sensation will bring hits like "In Hell I'll Be in Good Company" and "Banjo Odyssey" to Cheyenne as part of The Dead South 2026 Tour. Bluegrass vocal harmonies is one of the most distinguishing characteristics - there is nothing else like it. Expect their signature energetic performance blending folk, bluegrass, and dark humor, plus tracks from their latest album "Chains & Stakes" (2024).

Join One22 Resource Center on the lawn at the Center for the Arts to celebrate 25 years of community care, connection and collaboration!

For a quarter century, One22 has shown up for neighbors across the Greater Teton Area, offering financial assistance, food assistance, youth enrichment scholarships, emergency response and so much more. Today, One22 serves approximately 10 percent of the local population, and this free community event is a chance to celebrate every person and partnership that made that possible.

Built from three legacy organizations — Community Resource Center, Latino Resource Center and El Puente — and later joined by the Jackson Cupboard, One22 has grown into a cornerstone of this community. This milestone is worth celebrating together.

Come out for live music, food trucks, activities for all ages and plenty of opportunities to connect with your neighbors. This event is free and open to everyone.

Washakie Museum will honor America’s 250th birthday with a concert by Portable Masterpieces, a salon orchestra of 9 musicians from Casper, WY on Tuesday, June 23 at 7 p.m. at the Washakie Museum and Cultural Center. The ensemble will perform a selection of American music from Bix Beiderbecke to Irving Berlin, and Woody Guthrie to Zez Confrey with some expected patriotic favorites. The concert is supported through the generosity of local patrons in the community, an award from the National Endowment for the Arts and a grant the Wyoming Arts Council.

Join us for the 7th Annual Dubois Awards & Recognition Breakfast as we honor Marylou Bowles-Banks for her extraordinary commitment to Dubois youth and welcome featured speaker Michael Franzese, who will share his powerful story of transformation and redemption.

The breakfast will be held Wednesday, June 24, at the National Museum of Military Vehicles. Doors open at 6:15 a.m., breakfast is served at 6:30 a.m., and the program begins promptly at 7:00 a.m.
There is no cost to attend, but guests are asked to make a meaningful contribution to support the Boys & Girls Club of Dubois and the life-changing work happening for local youth every day.
