Legal Aid of Wyoming is hosting a free legal aid event where attendees can receive advice on civil legal matters from qualified attorneys. No advice can be given for criminal or traffic matters.
There is an income eligibility requirement to participate in this event. Individuals at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level can receive advice.
There is no appointment necessary. Legal advice will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis. Dinner will also be provided for attendees.

Western Wyoming Community College (Western) and the Exercise Science program will host the 9th annual Run With Sandy - Together For A Cure 5K on Saturday, May 3. This is more than a race; it’s a movement to provide support and raise awareness in our community towards all cancers. Run for yourself, run for someone you know, or donate at the run and directly support our Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center. Whether you are a seasoned runner or walker, this event is perfect for everyone.
Check-in, donations and same day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at Western Commons. Registration is by donation, and open to the public. T-shirts will be available on a first-come basis for those who make a minimum $20 donation, while supplies last. All members of the community are encouraged to participate.
This run is made possible with sponsorship from Western Wyoming Community College Exercise Science Program, Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, and Western Wyoming Beverage.

May the Fourth be with you! Come Solo, or bring all of your Troopers, to the 2025 Hospice of Laramie Taste & Toast – Sunday, May the 4th from 2-5pm at the Albany County Fairgrounds. Sample TASTES from our local restaurants, bakers, and brewers, and then vote for your favorites so that we can TOAST Laramie’s food and beverage Jedi. Your $35 ticket gives you full access to enjoy food, alcoholic and NA beverages, music, games, and bid on exciting silent auction items. And did we mention a Star Wars themed costume contest? Prizes will be awarded to the “best dressed” characters so break out your best robes, light sabers, and Ewok ears if you want to participate (no sharp weapons allowed).

For the past 35 years, an annual event has been bringing people to central Fremont County, across both county and state lines, some years larger than others.
For 2025, the Wyoming Weapons Collectors Association presents the 36th Annual Memorial Weekend Gun Show inside the Fremont Center at the Fremont County Fairgrounds on May 24th and 25th. Saturday hours are 9-5, and Sunday 9-3. Adult admission is $6 and includes one ticket per paid admission for the gun raffle. Kids 12 and under are admitted FREE with paid adult admission.
As a non-profit organization of volunteers and supporting members, the Annual Wyoming Weapons Collectors Gun Show in Riverton is a fundraiser to further the mission of promoting education to Wyoming youth in both firearms safety and proficiency in marksmanship. Anyone interested in supporting the organization as a member is invited to join for $12 for the first year, with renewals of just $30 total to cover years two through four. Members receive free admission to the Annual Gun Show, are mailed the quarterly newsletter, a name badge and membership card. Lifetime memberships are also available.

A volunteer attorney will be available for brief one-on-one visits with community members to provide instruction in filling out legal forms and navigating the court system.
