At first glance, La Bohème is the definitive depiction of the joys and sorrows of love and loss; on closer inspection, it reveals the deep emotional significance hidden in the trivial things—a bonnet, an old overcoat, a chance meeting with a neighbor—that make up our everyday lives.
Volunteers needed for a study on how to effectively communicate environmental and scientific information withTribal and rural communities. Researchers from the Northern Arapaho Tribe and the University of Utah would like to have small group discussions with community members on this topic – but we need your help. Compensation Provided
The CYS is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special concert on November 8th at 7p at LCCCin the Surbrugg-Prentice Auditorium. This group consists of 5th through 9th graders who are seeking out additional musical challenges, and they are amazing! We would love for all alumni and for community members to come help us celebrate this special occasion.
Relative Theatrics is proud to present STRAIGHT WHITE MEN by Young Jean Lee in association with the SAFE Men program. The play runs November 7th through 15th in the Gryphon Theatre at the Laramie Plains Civic CenterPlay Description:When Ed and his three adult sons come together to celebrate Christmas, they enjoy cheerful trash-talking, pranks, and takeout Chinese. Then they confront a problem that even being a happy family can’t solve: When identity matters, and privilege is problematic, what is the value of being a straight white man?
The opening weekend of performances is November 7th and November 8th 2025 at 7:30 pm. Performances continue November 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th at 7:30pm. All performances are located at the Laramie Plains Civic Center in the Gryphon Theatre. A preview pay-what-you-can performance will take place at 7:30pm on November 6th, 2025. Additionally there will be a post show talk back immediately following the show on November 13th funded by the Wyoming Humanities Crossroad Grant.

VFW Post 2221 and the Jacques Laramie Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution are hosting a fundraising breakfast for Wreaths Across America, Sunday, November 9, 8 am – 11 am at the post, 2142 E Garfield, Laramie. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the door. There will also be a silent auction. All proceeds from the breakfast and auction will be used to purchase wreaths for Veteran graves at Greenhill Cemetery this holiday season. Looking to deepen your acting skills and unlock new layers of creative expression?
Acting Level 3 is designed for those with some prior experience who are ready to go further. This five-session workshop explores performance through the lens of acting technique and improvisation, helping you better understand your physical and verbal presence while learning how imagination, language, and movement come together on stage.
Instructor BJ Hanford brings a wealth of experience to the class, including 22 years as a professional actor, singer, and dancer in New York City, followed by a decade of directing, choreographing, and teaching at Dancers’ Workshop. After a 15-year detour in the culinary world, BJ is back on stage and passionately committed to supporting Riot Act’s community-based arts education.
