Vitaly Beckman stumped Penn & Teller three times on their hit TV show Fool Us. He has amazed and entertained audiences from all over the world, including his own off Broadway run. He is hailed as one of the most unique and innovative illusionists in the world. Now Vitaly brings his latest and most ambitious production to the stage with An Evening of Wonders.

Combining breathtaking visuals with Vitaly’s captivating style, An Evening of Wonders is an interactive theatrical experience that takes the audience on a magical journey. Along the way, Vitaly blends art and illusion to illustrate the story of his transformation from a boy with a dream to a man with a vision of a world where the rules of reality do not exist. In this world paintings spring to life, photographs become mini-movies, and audience members see their faces vanish from their own driver’s licenses. Even time itself reverses as bare broken branches visibly repair and renew themselves with the green leaves of spring.

Still Life is an up-and-coming chamber jazz ensemble based in Denver. A creative collective with a core quartet including trumpeter Micah Miller, saxophonist Nathan Radich, drummer Gabriel Mangione, and bassist Michael Rinko, the group is dedicated to presenting creative music and collaborative art as an active part of Denver’s new music scene. Still Life plays with a “thoughtful, singular style” that blurs genre lines, honoring the tradition of improvisational music while also drawing inspiration from new chamber music, folk, and rock.

Micah Miller is an award-winning composer, performer and educator living in Denver. He grew up in Wyoming, learning piano, trumpet, and voice from a young age. He studied jazz trumpet and voice at the University of Northern Colorado, and recently completed a Master’s in trumpet performance from the University of Wyoming. As a freelancing musician, Micah plays around the Northern Colorado and Wyoming area in a variety of ensembles and musical settings, playing with groups like the Wyoming Symphony and the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra. Micah released his debut album of original works for jazz quintet, why not here? in September 2023, and the first album with his band Still Life – introducing – in April of 2025. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Jazz Composition from the University of Denver.

Jeri Sager made her Broadway debut as Frumah-Sara in the 25th Anniversary production of Fiddler on the Roof, starring Topol. She then went on to star as Grizabella in Cats, Eva Peron in Evita, and appeared as Fantine in Les Miserables. Her other credits include West Side Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Brigadoon, Pippin, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Louise in Always…Patsy Cline. Jeri’s performances have been critically acclaimed in such publications as The New York Times, The Daily News, The New Yorker, The LA Times and The San Francisco Examiner.

Jeri has worked with directors Jerome Robbins and Trevor Nunn, and songwriter/playwright Rupert Holmes. She has had the honor of performing for Pope John Paul II, Presidents Carter and George W. Bush, and, through her performances with the USO, has entertained both American and British troops. She has sung the National Anthem on July 4th for the Baltimore Orioles and has made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry.

Daniel Adam Maltz is a Vienna-based fortepianist. He is “considered the foremost performer in the world of the fortepiano” (Aspen Daily News) and is in demand worldwide with 50+ tour dates per year as a sought-after recitalist, concerto soloist, director, Lied accompanist, and clinician.

Daniel specializes in Viennese Classicism — especially the works of Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven — performed on the Viennese fortepianos of their time.

Critics say Daniel puts “[Beethoven’s] tenderness, longing and frustration into the very notes” (Orlando Sentinel) and “Maltz is a marvelous and sincere artist… It was a privilege to hear an artist of this caliber” (The Antic Arts).

Daniel studied fortepiano performance at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna and the Royal Academy of Music in London, refining his command of historical practices through private study with Ingomar Rainer.

For 2027, Daniel launched a 90-city tour commemorating 200 years since Beethoven’s death.

Founded in New York City in 1991, the ensemble Barynya is internationally recognized as one of the leading presenters of Russian folk arts outside of Russia. For more than three decades, the group has delighted audiences with vibrant performances that celebrate the rich cultural traditions of Eastern Europe and neighboring communities. The repertoire features an exciting blend of Russian, Cossack, Ukrainian, Jewish, and Gypsy Roma music, dance, and song, showcasing the diversity and beauty of these enduring cultural heritages.

Known for its energetic choreography, colorful costumes, and exceptional musicianship, Barynya presents authentic folk traditions alongside dazzling virtuoso performances. The ensemble’s musicians perform on traditional instruments such as the balalaika, garmoshka (Russian folk button accordion), and balalaika contrabass, creating a distinctive and memorable sound that captivates audiences of all ages.

Barynya has earned widespread acclaim through performances at many of the most prestigious cultural institutions and venues. The ensemble has appeared at venues such as Carnegie Hall, the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., the United Nations, and the Russian Embassy. Through its dedication to preserving and sharing traditional folk culture, Barynya continues to serve as a cultural ambassador, bringing the spirit, artistry, and traditions of Eastern European folk performance to audiences throughout the United States and around the world.

We begin with Aesop’s classic fable of The Tortoise and Hare but continue the story which finds them 10 years down the road, now with children of their own and exploring modern day distractions. Smartphones and video games create a new landscape of lost connections to life experiences. The Next Gen features Tortoise Junior and Lil’ Hare in a whole new kind of race, where their adventures lead them into unexpected territory. Old Man Tortoise and Big Daddy Hare must come together despite their differences to find and save their children. What hurdles will they have to overcome to make it to the finish line? With dazzling visuals, poignant storytelling, and the creative use of music from classical to pop, this production brings this tale into a new brilliant light.

Taken from a catchy little number found in the 1679 edition of John Playford’s compendium of popular tunes entitled The English Dancing Master, the early music ensemble, No-Body’s Jigg was formed in 2005 by harpsichordist Ronan Khalil, recorder and traverso player Thibault Viviani, both hailing from France, Venezuelan cellist and gambist Tulio Rondon (and later, Anton Baba of Australia), and violinist and Wyoming’s own, Conor Jacobson, while all were studying at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague. The band was known for lively performances of diverse baroque repertoire centered around the four, core members, but they would often expand their ranks to facilitate orchestral works, concerti, and vocal programming. No-Body’s Jigg was quite active in The Netherlands until 2009.

Now, after having gone on in pursuit their own adventures, with great pleasure Conor, Thibault, Ronan, and Tulio reunite after nearly two decades, and for the first time, will be playing together in the USA. Co-sponsored by the Casper College Foundation.

Nathan Baker is the music theory coordinator at Casper College where he teaches music theory, music composition, low brass performance, history of rock, and occasionally a course on film and video game music. In addition to his teaching and nationally-recognized research into music theory pedagogy (particularly from historical and cognitive perspectives), Baker is an active performer on the trombone. He is second trombonist with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and principal trombonist with the Casper Municipal Band, and he has played with the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra, the Yellowstone Big Band, the Blues Brothers, the Casper Brass and Storm Door Company, Dem Bones, Deer Creek Brass, and in various musical theatre productions at Utah State University, the University of Oregon, and Casper College. In his (limited) free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and hamster, playing contemporary board games, and exploring world cultures by learning to cook their cuisines.
