Slow Food in the Tetons annual Farm to Fork Festival is a community celebration of local and regional food, hands-on learning, and the people who make our food system thrive.

Highlights include:

Friday, October 2: Wild Fish Slow Food Film Fest with Trout Unlimited at the Center Theater — films at the confluence of conservation, community & food. Doors open at 5:30 PM

Saturday, October 3:
End-of-season Harvest Market
Rise & Brine pickling + fermentation event
Hands-on cooking, preservation, food systems, and sustainability workshops
Local farmers, producers, educators, and organizations
Activities and learning opportunities for all ages
Come shop, learn a new skill, meet the people behind your food, and celebrate the season with your community.

Workshop tickets go live at noon on September 18. Day-of sign-ups are welcome, but some workshops do sell out, so we recommend planning ahead and checking the website for availability.

The Laramie Urban Sketchers group meets every Saturday at a new location to draw our surroundings. Previous meet-ups have been Downtown Laramie, Laramie Parks, the Wyoming Women's History Museum, local cafes, etc.
We draw the architechture, people, objects, and events around us for two hours, then meet back up to admire everyone's work and talk about our sketching that day.
It's a welcoming group with members of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to document Laramie with our sketchbooks, and build a friendly community of people who like to make art together!

Whiskey Mountain is the place to be for environmental educators in Wyoming this fall! Won't you join us?
From October 2–4, the Wyoming Alliance for Environmental Education and Audubon Rockies will host a gathering at Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp in Dubois. Educators from across the state will come together to connect, share ideas, and explore new strategies for teaching and inspiring others about the environment.

Don't miss this opportunity to grow your network, spark new ideas, and strengthen the collective impact of environmental educators in Wyoming—all within the beautiful Wind River Mountain Range! Registration is $75 and includes food and lodging.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears. "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

Albany County 4-H is hosting an open house event for the community to learn about joining 4-H and the programs offered. Project and club leaders will be there to answer questions along with presentations on how to enroll in 4-H. There will be games and giveways for attending the event.
4-H is much more than livestock and there is something for everyone in 4-H. Our volunteer leaders host project meetings for projects like leathercraft, visual arts, shooting sports, photography, mechanical science and so much more! We have over 380 youth and over 80 volunteers in our county program. Come explore 4-H!
