Join the Wyoming Down Syndrome Association in celebrating the extraordinary lives of individuals with Down syndrome at the 26th Annual Wyoming Buddy Walk on Saturday, September 12 from 9am-12pm at the Washington Park Bandshell in Laramie, WY. Enjoy a variety of carnival games, carnival snacks, live music, and celebration of the extraordinary lives of people with Down syndrome!

The Laramie Urban Sketchers group meets every Saturday at a new location to draw our surroundings. Previous meet-ups have been Downtown Laramie, Laramie Parks, the Wyoming Women's History Museum, local cafes, etc.
We draw the architechture, people, objects, and events around us for two hours, then meet back up to admire everyone's work and talk about our sketching that day.
It's a welcoming group with members of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to document Laramie with our sketchbooks, and build a friendly community of people who like to make art together!

Join The Center for its annual presentation of The Hootenanny in The Center Theater!

Once a year, the Hootenanny trades in its usual Monday-night venue in Moose, WY, and performs an in-town version of the long-running tradition. Talented pickers, founding performers, and long-time stalwarts take the stage to perform covers and originals – all acoustically.

The Hootenanny began in the 1950s and continues to be a home for some of Jackson’s best musicians. The Center’s yearly gathering allows Jackson-based talent to belt out their tunes on the large stage and share the magic captured in front on the Tetons.

Join Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming for the 28th Annual Awards & Recognition Breakfast on Wednesday, September 16th, at the Ford Wyoming Center as the community comes together to honor longtime supporters Bob and Celia Kirkwood for their lasting impact across Wyoming. The morning will also feature nationally recognized educator and motivational speaker Coach Ken Carter, whose inspiring message on leadership, accountability, and the importance of education has impacted audiences across the country.
