Conservation, Change, & Controversy: A Talk with Dr. Robert Keiter - Jackson
The Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance and History Jackson Hole invite the community to an evening with Dr. Robert Keiter, one of the nation’s leading public land scholars and an authority on the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE).
The event, “Conservation, Change, & Controversy: A Talk with Dr. Robert Keiter,” will explore the evolution of conservation in the Greater Yellowstone region—its historic roots, current challenges, and future pathways for responsible planning amid rapid growth and development.
The evening will consist of a presentation followed by a public discussion and Q&A moderated by Jenny Fitzgerald, Executive Director of the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance. The event will conclude with a book signing of Dr. Keiter’s newest publication, "Conserving Nature in Greater Yellowstone: Controversy and Change in an Iconic Ecosystem", which will be available for purchase at the event and beforehand in the Jackson Hole History Museum Store.
This program is a collaboration between the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance and History Jackson Hole, aimed at bringing regional conservation issues to the public through dialogue and shared learning.
Doors open at 5:30 pm; Event starts at 6:00 pm
Free and open to the public.
