Carbon County Search & Rescue East Division is hosting an Open House for the community to come meet our teams! Explore the fun world of Search & Rescue with demonstrations, obstacles and a 50/50 raffle! We will be at Lincoln Park on FS rd 100 on the Snowy Range, on October 11th 11am-4pm with horses, helicopters and skeds! Come say hi, meet our teams and check out the demonstrations.

Art, nature, and conservation come together at the Murie Ranch.

Join Teton Science Schools for a free, three-day community celebration featuring artist-led workshops, demonstrations, speakers, local art, and creative activities for all ages.

At this community forum, the Wyoming Outdoor Council will be there to answer questions, hear your concerns, discuss what responsible data center development looks like, and share how you can weigh in on proposed projects and ensure they benefit local communities.

Long before Sheridan County became known for its ranches and thriving communities, coal mining fueled the region’s economy and gave rise to dozens of bustling coal camps. Drawing on his research and article, The Coal Camps of Sheridan County, SCLT Director of History Kevin Knapp explores the history of these forgotten communities, the miners and their families who called them home, and their lasting impact on northeastern Wyoming. SCLT Explore History is free and open to all.

SCLT Explore History is a collaboration of The Hub on Smith, Tongue River Valley Community Center, and Sheridan Community Land Trust.

Thinking of bringing your dog? Well behaved dogs who are comfortable around a large group of other dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash! Warning to our furry friends: the building floors are made of sealed concrete and can be scary to some (looking for rug sponsorships).
