This interactive class will cover essential outdoor preparedness topics, including hiking safety, trail navigation, wildlife encounters, heat-related illnesses, and emergency readiness. The team of trained SASAR volunteers will bring these lessons to life through real-world scenarios, map-and-compass demonstrations, and interactive learning stations.
Whether you’re new to hiking or a seasoned trail explorer, this is a great way to build skills, boost confidence, and make sure your adventures are safe and enjoyable.

Bringing Christmas joy to neighbors in need.
About the Program: Each year, many individuals and families in the Laramie area face challenges making ends meet, yet still hold onto hope for a joyful holiday season. Community Holidays is a collaborative effort to make sure no one is forgotten during Christmas. This program is lead by a group of volunteers from different organizations.
Together with nonprofits, businesses, government offices, families, and students, we unite to provide gifts and support for Albany County residents who live OUTSIDE of the ACSD1 school district. All donations remain within the Laramie community, directly supporting our neighbors in need.
Who We Serve:• Individuals and families living in Albany County, OUTSIDE of the ACSD1 school district• Children, adults, and seniors in need of holiday support

Our oldest tradition, which features handmade art, crafts, food, and more in the Fremont Center at the Fremont County Fair Grounds on November 21st and 22d!
