Cue the dancing bears and break out the tie-dye! Amplify Astoria returns Saturday, September 26, for a late-summer-of-love celebration at Astoria Hot Springs.

Local Jackson Hole favorites The Deadlocks take the stage with special guests John Kadlecik, Duane Betts and Jeremy Hoenig—bringing some serious Grateful Dead musical history to the Snake River Canyon.

Come soak in the mineral hot springs, enjoy live music, BBQ and beverages, and spend the afternoon with friends and family in one of Jackson Hole’s most unique concert settings.

Best of all, Amplify Astoria raises funds for the Astoria Access Fund, helping make hot springs visits and wellness programs more affordable and accessible to our community.

Celebrate apple season with an evening of fall fun at the SCLT Welcome Center!

Join us Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Big Goose Natural Area for a family-friendly Apple Fest. Try your hand at aerial apple dunking, take a walk across the property to visit some of the heritage apple trees still growing at the BGNA, and learn a little about the history of apple trees in Wyoming and Sheridan.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an Apple Fest without something to eat and drink! Enjoy fresh apple cider and homemade apple goodies, then gather around the campfire for storytelling as the evening winds down.

Along the way, we’ll mix a little history and learning into the fun as we explore how apples became part of our local landscape.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears. "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

The Friends of the Albany County Public Library is hosting a book sale in the basement of the library from September 26-28, 2026. The event is free and open to the public. We have thousands of books, DVDs, CDs, and vinyl for sale at bargain prices, and all proceeds from the sale benefit the Albany County Public Library.

The Jackson Indigenous Art Market returns to the lawn of St. John’s Episcopal Church for its fourth year on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2026. The two-day gathering celebrates Indigenous art, culture, music, relationships and community

The market will welcome dozens of Indigenous artists from Wyoming and neighboring states. The gathering will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists and purchase original paintings, traditional beadwork and basketry, jewelry, apparel, accessories, home décor and other handcrafted works.

“Each year, this market becomes so much more than a place to experience and purchase beautiful art. It becomes a place to listen, learn, share stories and build relationships,” said the Rev. Mary Erickson, associate rector at St. John’s Episcopal Church. “We are deeply grateful to welcome these artists back to St. John’s for a fourth year. We hope our neighbors and visitors will come with curiosity, spend time with the artists and support their work.”

The Jackson Indigenous Art Market creates an opportunity for Indigenous artists to share their work directly with the community while inviting residents and visitors to celebrate the vibrant, living arts and cultures of Native peoples throughout the region.

Internationally distinguished organist Kimberly Marshall will perform at the Organ Concert Series event in Cheyenne on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Cathedral of Saint Mary, 2107 Capitol Avenue. The concert is free and open to the public, beginning at 2 p.m. The doors open at 1:30 p.m.

She holds the Patricia and Leonard Goldman Endowed Professorship in Organ at Arizona State University. Join Sheridan Community Land Trust, Piney Island Native Plants and the Bighorn Native Plant Society for a special presentation with Linwood and Randall Tall Bull, members of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe.

Through Traditional Knowledge and oral history, Linwood and Randall will share knowledge passed down across generations about native plants and their important roles in the lives, traditions and culture of the Northern Cheyenne people. The presentation will also explore oral stories, traditional tools and weaponry, ancient skills, and other connections between people and the land, giving participants a broader look at Northern Cheyenne knowledge and traditions.
