Laramie United Methodist Women's Christmas Bazaar and Flea Market is an annual event open to the community. Blessed Treasures Thrift Shop will also be open at the same time and location. Featuring Homemade baked goods and confections, handmade goods and needlework, Cards & Christmas wrap, Fair Trade coffee and tea, and other miscellaneous items. Proceeds benefit local charities and other supported missions of Laramie Methodist Women.

The Laramie Urban Sketchers group meets every Saturday at a new location to draw our surroundings. Previous meet-ups have been Downtown Laramie, Laramie Parks, the Wyoming Women's History Museum, local cafes, etc.
We draw the architechture, people, objects, and events around us for two hours, then meet back up to admire everyone's work and talk about our sketching that day.
It's a welcoming group with members of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to document Laramie with our sketchbooks, and build a friendly community of people who like to make art together!

America’s premiere doo wop comedy group will be gifting ARTCORE with a holiday concert as part of the group’s nationwide holiday tour!

Founded in 1987, The Alley Cats have performed all over the world, and have opened for Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Joan Rivers, Rascal Flatts, and The Beach Boys. The group is well-known for their tight vocal harmonies, but their laugh-out-loud, unruly brand of humor keeps audiences coming back.

The Alley Cats have appeared on numerous television shows for NBC, CBS, and PBS, and their music has taken them to every continent, including Antarctica. The Alley Cats have had the honor of entertaining U.S. military troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and were invited in 2001 by President Bill Clinton to perform at The White House.

Creative Aging: Tap
Mondays, 1:30–2:30 PM @ DW
January 11 – March 1
Tap shoes provided if needed.

We will partner with Amelia Terrapin, DW Executive Director, professional dancer and educator with years experience teaching older adults. Participants will explore the rhythms and joy of tap, beginning with fundamental vocabulary and musicality and progressing toward short combinations. Over the eight weeks, participants will develop confidence, coordination, and self-expression. Tap shoes will be made available by DW, and the class can be done either seated or standing, adapting to meet a wide range of mobility levels.

Crispy Watkins, a bard of Appalachian spirit-folk tradition, weaves folk tales and tunes rooted in ancestral wisdom. With a heart for community and the Earth, their music offers somatic soul care, honoring the interconnectedness of all beings. Listeners will find themselves joining in as Crispy’s song-leading sensibilities invite experiences of shared singing, uplifting and connecting all present. With roots in East Tennessee, Crispy has been based in Fort Collins since 2014.

The Casper Brass and Storm Door Company is a premier large brass and percussion ensemble based in Casper. Formed in 1998 by founder Fred Taylor, the group features more than two dozen accomplished Wyoming brass and percussion musicians. Since its inception, the collective has built a rich legacy of musical excellence and community connection. They are celebrated for their highly anticipated, biennial performances that draw diverse crowds from across the region.

Sponsored by ARTCORE, Casper’s long-standing performing arts organization, the ensemble continues its tradition under the artistic leadership of director Jeremy Huck. Huck is a distinguished local educator who brings more than 30 years of music teaching and directing experience to the podium.

The group delivers a dynamic concert experience that highlights the vast sonic possibilities of brass and percussion instrumentation. Their expansive repertoire spans centuries, offering audiences an eclectic journey through timeless classics. Listeners can expect to hear a wide variety of music, ranging from intricate Baroque masterpieces to powerful contemporary works, including pieces by Vivaldi, Rossini, Sousa, and Barber. The performance promises a captivating blend of power and precision that showcases the rich culture of Wyoming’s performing arts.
