The 2025 Wyoming Buddy Walk® will begin at 9 am and we will have a variety of carnival games, carnival snacks, and live music. At 10:15 am we will have our recognition ceremony and walk. We return to the band shell where we will enjoy lunch and more music. The event will conclude at 12 pm, which will provide enough time for people attending the University of Wyoming football game to make their way to Tailgate Park to enjoy the UW festivities.
Volunteers needed for a study on how to effectively communicate environmental and scientific information with Tribal and rural communities. Researchers from the Northern Arapaho Tribe and the University of Utah would like to have small group discussions with community members on this topic – but we need your help. Compensation Provided
The Platte County Art Guild is the second oldest art guild in Wyoming. The Guild will be celebrating it's 90 year history with an art show by current members and a trip down memory lane with an art display by our past members. Laramie Peak Museum, the location for the event, also has an extensive display of art by Platte County artists that scans decades. All are welcomed to celebrate with Platte County artists and visit the new museum building. Refreshments will be served.
The Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center is thrilled to present its fourth youth theater production, Annie JR., featuring over 40 talented local kids. With more than 35 young performers on stage and 5 additional students learning the ropes of sound and lighting and behind the scenes, this show is a true celebration of creativity, teamwork, and community spirit.
Based on the beloved Broadway musical, Annie JR. follows the spunky orphan Annie as she sets out to find her parents in 1930s New York City. Despite the harsh conditions of Miss Hannigan’s orphanage, Annie’s optimism and determination lead her to a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his kind-hearted secretary Grace Farrell, and her loyal dog Sandy. Our projects, such as reservoir repairs and fertility control, rely solely on donations and grants. On September 6th, FOAL will host its 10th annual fundraiser, the Mustang Rendezvous. Through the generous support of the community, the fall event produces funds to ensure the herd’s future. We would like to extend an opportunity for you to be part of this success. This art fair showcases the talent of those who live in and around Jackson, WY selling an array of mediums including ceramics, fibers, painting, glass, photography, and mixed media. Held during Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, this event includes live music, food options and more.
ADMISSION: $6 entry fee, children 12 and under FREE.
Arts on the Green is a fundraising event for the Art Association of Jackson Hole. Volunteers help us provide our local and regional artist community with opportunities to present and sell their work. Admission as well as artist booth fees directly support the Art Association's ability to provide adult & youth art programming, art therapy outreach for 30+ valley organizations, gallery exhibitions, open studio access, and more. View and learn about the rich preservation and history of Legend Rock State Petroglyphs. Hike Legend Rocks Interpretive Trail, about a half a mile in, great for all ages! Legend Rock is a 1,312-foot near-vertical cliff with more than 92 petroglyph panels and over 300 petroglyph figures.
