The Wyoming Sheep & Wool Festival is an annual event that moves across the state of Wyoming. Join us for workshops, demonstration, dinners, tours, art & woolcraft shows, a vendor fair, and live music celebrating the sheep and wool industries, their communities, and culture, in Wyoming. In 2026, the Festival will be held in Powell, WY at the Park County Fairgrounds in Powell, WY.

Saddle up for the Laramie County Fair Ranch Rodeo featuring local ranch teams competing in classic events, ranch bronc riding, and nonstop arena action. With free admission and food and drinks available for purchase, it’s a true celebration of cowboy spirit and ranching tradition.

The 2026 Laramie County Fair is back July 29 through August 8, bringing together the best of summer, community, tradition, and family fun at the Archer Complex in Cheyenne. This year’s theme, “Fair’s Poppin’,” sets the stage for a full fair schedule packed with livestock shows, 4-H and FFA exhibits, open class competitions, hands-on activities, fair contests, food, entertainment, and plenty of hometown memories in the making.

The fair kicks off July 29 with horse, dog, rabbit, beef, and static exhibits, then rolls into a lively week of public activities beginning August 1. Families can enjoy the Midway from August 1–7 with carnival games, an inflatable zone, glass blowing demos, balloon twisting, airbrush tattoos, magic shows, caricatures, a petting zoo, foam parties, mini-golf, a laser maze, and more.

Special highlights include the Farmers Market on August 1, Ranch Rodeo and the new Salsa Showdown on August 2, pie contests on August 3, Mutton Bustin’ on August 4, the new Cheyenne Youth Rodeo and Bubblegum Blowing Contest on August 5, Pig Wrestling on August 6, round robin shows and family activities on August 7, and the Youth Livestock Sale on August 8.

The popular Musical Adventures program, led by Stoner Family Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich, brings fun and music to Teton Village Commons weekly on Tuesdays at 10 AM. Geared for listeners ages one through five, classes are also fun and accessible for all ages. Sponsored in part by Teton Village Association.

Free and open to the public! Dive into classical music with the Grand Teton Music Festival! Suitable for interested novices and seasoned fans alike, this adult education group will explore the history, theory and stories behind epic classical works each week. Led by Stoner Family Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich, prepare for the coming weekend’s Festival Orchestra concerts or simply join the discussion in the Classical Music Listening Club. Up Close and Personal: Partners in music and life, Phillipe Chao and Eva Cappelletti Chao, present a program of violin and viola duos interwoven with stories from their many years playing together at the Grand Teton Music Festival – a fitting tribute to the spirit of Olaus and Mardie Murie’s home and legacy.

In GTMF’s On the Road series, Stoner Family Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich leads programs that are accessible to all ages and bring music to life with explanations and demonstrations. Programming for this free concert is forthcoming.

Leading ladies of Broadway take center stage in an unforgettable evening of songs from the world of musicals featuring shining vocalists Kate Loprest (First Date, Hairspray), Cassondra James (The Queen of Versailles) and Andrea Ross (Whistle Down The Wind) with artistic director and pianist Andy Einhorn. From Julie to Carol to Barbra to Audra and more, experience a tour through the ages as we celebrate the iconic divas of the Broadway stage!
