When Robert Sims steps onto the stage, America’s story finds its voice anew. “Celebrating America” is more than a performance; it is a vibrant journey across the heart of a nation. Sims, known for his rich baritone and magnetic stage presence, curates a program that weaves together spirituals, Broadway favorites, patriotic classics, and the best of classical contemporary composers, each selection a thread in the nation’s grand tapestry.

“Celebrating America” is a tribute not just to a nation, but to its people, diverse in heritage, yet bound by music and the enduring dream of liberty. In Sims’ hands, America’s song continues to soar!

Long before Sheridan County became known for its ranches and thriving communities, coal mining fueled the region’s economy and gave rise to dozens of bustling coal camps. Drawing on his research and article, The Coal Camps of Sheridan County, SCLT Director of History Kevin Knapp explores the history of these forgotten communities, the miners and their families who called them home, and their lasting impact on northeastern Wyoming. SCLT Explore History is free and open to all.

SCLT Explore History is a collaboration of The Hub on Smith, Tongue River Valley Community Center, and Sheridan Community Land Trust.

Whether you're looking for fresh ingredients, a delicious meal, or one-of-a-kind items, the market offers something for everyone while supporting local businesses and Community Action of Laramie County programs.

The Laramie Urban Sketchers group meets every Saturday at a new location to draw our surroundings. Previous meet-ups have been Downtown Laramie, Laramie Parks, the Wyoming Women's History Museum, local cafes, etc.
We draw the architechture, people, objects, and events around us for two hours, then meet back up to admire everyone's work and talk about our sketching that day.
It's a welcoming group with members of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to document Laramie with our sketchbooks, and build a friendly community of people who like to make art together!

You know the AI story already: it does everything, it's faster than you, and it's going to fix your business overnight.

What we don't hear enough about is the other, more human, side. Used well, AI can help you to be more present with the people who matter. It can take energy-draining tasks off your plate, while handling prep and follow-up in the background. It can help your client relationships become more meaningful and human.

What we'll cover:

How to use AI to remember what matters to each client, so your follow-ups are personalized instead of generic

How to understand your client better

The line between AI helping you show up better and AI making things feel automated or cold

Where AI can free up your time and attention to focus on the client relationship itself

You'll leave with a short, personal game plan: one or two specific places in your client relationships where you can start using AI this week, and where you should keep your hands firmly on the wheel.
