This series will be taught by Sarah Hemphill, DW staff and certified Pilates instructor. Sarah has trained in the Moving Through Parkinson’s modality with the Center for Healthy Aging at Colorado State University and has 7 years of experience working with older adults. This class series is rooted in creative movement practices adapted for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. While the methodology was developed for people with Parkinson’s, the class is suitable for a wide range of mobility issues including Huntington’s, multiple sclerosis, and the general limited mobility associated with aging.

Participants will focus on balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and creative expression. Each week introduces new movement ideas while revisiting and deepening previous skills, encouraging both continuity and mastery. This class combats the isolation experienced by some in this demographic by fostering social connection while supporting physical and emotional well-being.

The tribute band, Stayin' Alive, opens on stage at Cheyenne Civic Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, playing all the golden oldies of the legendary sounds of the Bee Gees, in a performance of Stayin' Alive—One Evening of the Bee Gees. Hear the Gibb brothers' era revived with dazzling big-screen footage, epic imagery, and spot-on singing replications. From a small-scale six-piece performance, Stayin' Alive has been known to appear with an epic full-band blowout with up to 62 orchestral players, garnering rave reviews and drawing capacity crowds globally. The Tobin Center and Tuacahn Amphitheater have already experienced this phenomenal performance with their exciting takes on the Bee Gees' disco records from the '70s and beyond.

The Bighorn Jazz Orchestra is comprised of the finest professional jazz musicians in the region, many of whom serve on the faculties of the University of Colorado, Colorado Christian University, Montana State University, Central Washington University, Northwest College, and Sheridan College. The Music Director of the Bighorn Jazz Orchestra is composer-arranger-trombonist and director of bands and jazz studies at Sheridan College, Dr. Eric Richards. Eric’s music for jazz orchestra is published worldwide and has been performed on six continents by professional and educational ensembles.

Join us in Riverton for Behind Linear Narratives: Indigenous Plains Ledger Art, an evening of art sharing and discussion with renowned ledger artists Terrance Guardipee and Terran Last Gun.
This free public event will be held at the Central Wyoming College (CWC) Riverton Intertribal Center, Hirschfield Meeting Room (ITECC 116), located at 2660 Peck Avenue, Riverton, WY.
The artists will share their work, perspectives, and insights into the tradition and contemporary evolution of Indigenous Plains Ledger Art, offering attendees an opportunity to engage with both the artistic process and cultural storytelling.
