STRIDE Learning Center has been supporting kids and their families since 1973.

Additionally: 85% of STRIDE's operational budget is from a state competitive grant. STRIDE receives approximately 7% from federal funds governed by I.D.E.A. STRIDE must locally raise 3% of the state amount to meet a contractual obligation. Fundraising, donations, and in-kind contributions and essential to STRIDE Learning Center.

The show is bound to have you screaming along to every single word, regardless of whether you know the right ones or not! It's going to be one hell of a amazing night jam packed of hit after hit LIVE ON STAGE. What more could you expect from The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight? They always deliver, and this tour is no different.

The public is invited to join the Jacques Laramie Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), as they rededicate Albany County's WWI Memorial Monument. The Chapter applied for and received an America 250 grant from the Wyoming Semiquincentennial Planning Task Force to professionally restore the monument located at the Northeast corner of the Albany County Courthouse block (6th and Ivinson). Following the rededication ceremony, there will be a reception and an education program by historian Kim Viner at the Alice Hardie Stevens Center. There will also be a slide show assembled by DAR member and Albany County Historical Society President Jan Botkin Therkildsen with photos and information about those who served plus general informational displays about WWI, memorabilia and refreshments. The monument was unveiled in Laramie in 1924 as a memorial to those from the county who served in the Great War and the 32 men who lost their lives. Created by renowned artist Giuseppe Moretti, it was originally placed in downtown Laramie at 2nd and Thornburgh (Later Ivinson Ave) and later moved to its current location. Prominent Laramie residents Grace Raymond Hebard and Edward Ivinson were instrumental in the effort to raise funds and get the monument installed, and Hebard was a founder of the Jacques Laramie DAR chapter.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears. "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

Crystal Sound Bowls offer a therapeutic form of meditation. All that is required to participate in this is finding a comfortable position to allow your body to relax. The bowls create healing frequencies that move through the body and re-calibrate on a cellular level. Each bowl correlates to a different chakra. Participants often are carried to a dream-like state and leave the room feeling full body residence.

Join instructors from Steady Stream Hydrology, the Powder River Basin Chapter of Trout Unlimited, and the Frank Johnson Memorial Chapter of Fly Fishers International for an evening of expert instruction and plenty of one-on-one coaching as you practice the fundamentals of fly casting.

Designed for ages 12 and up, this free workshop is limited to just 14 participants to ensure personalized instruction. Ladies are especially encouraged to attend.

All casting equipment will be provided, so please leave your own gear at home. Be sure to bring a water bottle and sunglasses for eye protection.
