Money raised will go toward our mission to help protect and preserve the wild horses of the McCullough Peaks.
The Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center is thrilled to present its fourth youth theater production, Annie JR., featuring over 40 talented local kids. With more than 35 young performers on stage and 5 additional students learning the ropes of sound and lighting and behind the scenes, this show is a true celebration of creativity, teamwork, and community spirit.
Based on the beloved Broadway musical, Annie JR. follows the spunky orphan Annie as she sets out to find her parents in 1930s New York City. Despite the harsh conditions of Miss Hannigan’s orphanage, Annie’s optimism and determination lead her to a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his kind-hearted secretary Grace Farrell, and her loyal dog Sandy. With unforgettable songs like “It’s the Hard Knock Life” and “Tomorrow,” this heartwarming tale reminds us all that hope and love can be found in the unlikeliest of places.

Our youth theater participants, ranging in age from 4 to 19, have been rehearsing tirelessly all summer. Their dedication and enthusiasm promise to make Annie JR. our most memorable production yet.
