Join the Sheridan Community Land Trust for Yoga on the Creek, a special Discovery Session at the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area. Led by Amanda Baker of A Place of Wholeness and accompanied by Austin Taylor on acoustic guitar, this gentle, all-ages program combines movement, mindfulness, music, and nature.
Participants will be guided through a centering yoga flow followed by a grounding relaxation practice along the serene banks of Big Goose Creek. Throughout the session, you’ll be encouraged to connect with the land, the sounds of the creek, and the natural world around you.
No prior yoga experience is necessary. Beginners and experienced practitioners alike are welcome.
What to Bring: Yoga mat, small blanket, water bottle, and comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor movement.
This Discovery Session is free to attend and open to all ages. RSVP is encouraged, but not required.

Free and open to the public! GTMF On the Road returns to Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church for an afternoon of music performed by Festival musicians.
Fairy Tale Flights: The stunning acoustics and view at Shepherd of the Mountains Church set the stage for a world premiere by GTMF’s own José González Granero and a musical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Nightingale by this season’s featured composer, Kevin Lau.
On the Road brings live classical music to audiences in Teton County and surrounding communities through free concerts performed by Festival Orchestra musicians and hosted with our community partners. Stoner Family Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich leads programs that are accessible to all ages and bring music to life with explanations and demonstrations.
2026 Evening at the Ivinsons’: The World’s Fair. The Evening's World’s Fair will take place at the Alice Hardie Stevens Center on August 1, 2026, commencing at 5:30 PM. This year's evening event will focus on the rich history of Laramie, featuring numerous local businesses and their contributions, akin to how the World's Fair in Chicago effectively rebranded that city as a modern and sophisticated metropolis.This year's Evening will underscore the significant transformations and growth that Laramie, WY, has experienced over the past several decades. The Mansion, one of the city's most venerable structures, has scheduled upcoming restorations, which include exterior stonework, roof replacement, porch repair, interior basement repointing, and fire escape updates. The cumulative cost for these endeavors is estimated at approximately $130,000. Additionally, progress continues on the Carriage House expansion, necessitating exterior painting and window replacement.

The 2026 Laramie County Fair is back July 29 through August 8, bringing together the best of summer, community, tradition, and family fun at the Archer Complex in Cheyenne. This year’s theme, “Fair’s Poppin’,” sets the stage for a full fair schedule packed with livestock shows, 4-H and FFA exhibits, open class competitions, hands-on activities, fair contests, food, entertainment, and plenty of hometown memories in the making.
The fair kicks off July 29 with horse, dog, rabbit, beef, and static exhibits, then rolls into a lively week of public activities beginning August 1. Families can enjoy the Midway from August 1–7 with carnival games, an inflatable zone, glass blowing demos, balloon twisting, airbrush tattoos, magic shows, caricatures, a petting zoo, foam parties, mini-golf, a laser maze, and more.
Special highlights include the Farmers Market on August 1, Ranch Rodeo and the new Salsa Showdown on August 2, pie contests on August 3, Mutton Bustin’ on August 4, the new Cheyenne Youth Rodeo and Bubblegum Blowing Contest on August 5, Pig Wrestling on August 6, round robin shows and family activities on August 7, and the Youth Livestock Sale on August 8.
Saddle up for the Steve Price Memorial Ranch Rodeo featuring local ranch teams competing in classic events, ranch bronc riding, and nonstop arena action. Renamed in honor of Steve Price’s love for the Fair, agriculture, and community, this free event celebrates cowboy spirit, ranching tradition, and the friends and neighbors who make Laramie County special. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The popular Musical Adventures program, led by Stoner Family Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich, brings fun and music to Teton Village Commons weekly on Tuesdays at 10 AM. Geared for listeners ages one through five, classes are also fun and accessible for all ages. Sponsored in part by Teton Village Association.

Up Close and Personal: Partners in music and life, Phillipe Chao and Eva Cappelletti Chao, present a program of violin and viola duos interwoven with stories from their many years playing together at the Grand Teton Music Festival – a fitting tribute to the spirit of Olaus and Mardie Murie’s home and legacy.
