Cheyenne Little Theatre Players proudly presents Shrek The Musical.

Shrek The Musical will be running at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse (2706 E. Pershing Blvd.) from Friday, September 18th through Sunday, October 4th. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears. "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

Comedian and actor Harland Williams brings the Comzilla Comedy Tour to the historic Rialto Theater in downtown Casper. Early and late shows presented by Casper Entertainment Group. Doors open at 8:45 pm.

Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, TAE & The Neighborly seamlessly blends the best of soul, R&B, pop, and rock through vibrant instrumentation and TAE’s unforgettable vocals.

The band released their debut full-length record Self Help in 2024, showcasing lyrics and soul-inspired arrangements that shed the malaise of a world that grows ever more grim for the places of joy that are never more than a mindset away. New listeners invariably latch on to the depth of TAE’s singular voice, demonstrating a remarkable breadth of emotional highs and lows from the smoky speakeasy allure of “Carry On” to the gut-punching climactic peak of “Let It Rain”.

Tap is rhythm, coordination, and fun - no prior experience necessary! This class is all about having fun. All levels welcome, beginners encouraged!

Bookmarked Literary Arts Festival will return to Lander October 9-11, 2026, bringing together writers, readers, artists and storytellers for a weekend celebrating the literary arts in all their forms.
Described as “an art show for writers, a story festival for readers,” Bookmarked continues to create a welcoming space for the community to experience stories on the page, on stage and, this year, through visual and cinematic arts.
The Keynote presentation “Scaling Adaptation: Taking Chomolungma from Stage to Screen,” will be hosted in the Carnegie Room at the Lander Library at 6:30 p.m. This event is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, a program of the Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources.
The presentation will explore the collaborative process of adapting Chomolungma from a stage play into a short narrative film. It will feature a read-through of the screenplay, and a panel comprised of playwright Molly Jones, theater director Anne Mason, filmmaker Sophie Barksdale and artists Oakley Boycott and Sarah Ortegon HighWalking. Together, they will discuss how a story evolves as it moves between artistic forms and how writing, performance, visual art and filmmaking each contribute to building its world.

A highlight of the festival is the yearly Bookmarked Book Fair from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, October 10, at the Lander Senior Center, 205 S.10th Street. The fair will give readers an opportunity to meet featured writers, discover new work and celebrate the region’s literary community.

The Cheyenne Farmers Market is a family-friendly community event where shoppers can find fresh fruits and vegetables, locally raised meats, baked goods, specialty foods, handmade products, and unique gifts from local vendors. Whether you're looking for fresh ingredients, a delicious meal, or one-of-a-kind items, the market offers something for everyone while supporting local businesses and Community Action of Laramie County programs.

The Laramie Urban Sketchers group meets every Saturday at a new location to draw our surroundings. Previous meet-ups have been Downtown Laramie, Laramie Parks, the Wyoming Women's History Museum, local cafes, etc.
We draw the architechture, people, objects, and events around us for two hours, then meet back up to admire everyone's work and talk about our sketching that day.
It's a welcoming group with members of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to document Laramie with our sketchbooks, and build a friendly community of people who like to make art together!
