Cheyenne Little Theatre Players proudly presents Stephen King's Misery.

Stephen King's Misery will be showing at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse (2706 E. Pershing Blvd.) Friday, October 30th through Sunday, November 15th. This psychological thriller based on Stephen King’s novel Misery follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash and wakes up captive in a secluded home owned by his self-identified “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes. While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads the manuscript of his latest book and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Annie forces Paul to write a new Misery novel and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go. The irate Annie has Paul writing as if his life depends on it – and it does.

The Laramie Urban Sketchers group meets every Saturday at a new location to draw our surroundings. Previous meet-ups have been Downtown Laramie, Laramie Parks, the Wyoming Women's History Museum, local cafes, etc.
We draw the architechture, people, objects, and events around us for two hours, then meet back up to admire everyone's work and talk about our sketching that day.
It's a welcoming group with members of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to document Laramie with our sketchbooks, and build a friendly community of people who like to make art together!

Celebrate the season with NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet, the largest touring production of its kind in North America. Coming to Cheyenne Civic Center . Cheyenne, WY. On November 30, 2026, this unforgettable performance featured an international cast of dancers, dazzling acrobatics, elaborate costumes, and larger-than-life puppetry.
Set to the timeless music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, the production transforms the stage into a magical holiday experience. A highlight of the show is the “Dove of Peace” adagio, a powerful and visually stunning moment that captivates audiences of all ages.
Now in its 34th year, the production continues to delight families across more than 80 cities annually.

Stop by the American Heritage Center in Laramie to view Wyoming Public Media's Wyoming 250 Photo Contest Exhibit. The opening reception on December 4th features a presentation by Spencer Pelton, Wyoming State Archaeologist.

Spencer will explore the Gateway to the Rockies: The Deep History of the Southern Laramie Valley.

After the talk, guests can enjoy light refreshments and enjoy the Wyoming's History Through Listeners' Eyes photo exhibit. (View the virtual exhibit online). The exhibit will travel around Wyoming throughout 2026.

Free and open to the public, the talk starts at 5:30 pm at the American Heritage Center. Stop by for refreshments and free sonic bison ear buds! All are welcome.

The Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance and History Jackson Hole invite the community to an evening with Dr. Robert Keiter, one of the nation’s leading public land scholars and an authority on the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE).

The event, “Conservation, Change, & Controversy: A Talk with Dr. Robert Keiter,” will explore the evolution of conservation in the Greater Yellowstone region—its historic roots, current challenges, and future pathways for responsible planning amid rapid growth and development.

The evening will consist of a presentation followed by a public discussion and Q&A moderated by Jenny Fitzgerald, Executive Director of the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance. The event will conclude with a book signing of Dr. Keiter’s newest publication, "Conserving Nature in Greater Yellowstone: Controversy and Change in an Iconic Ecosystem", which will be available for purchase at the event and beforehand in the Jackson Hole History Museum Store.

This program is a collaboration between the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance and History Jackson Hole, aimed at bringing regional conservation issues to the public through dialogue and shared learning.

Doors open at 5:30 pm; Event starts at 6:00 pm
