In Summer 2026, the Grand Teton Music Festival celebrates its 65th anniversary season led by Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Featuring seven weeks of world-class music – including programs by the Festival Orchestra, three Gateway Series presentations, and five Benoliel Chamber Music Series concerts, plus free family, education, and community engagement presentations – the season celebrates the stunning natural beauty of Jackson Hole as its home, Walk Festival Hall, undergoes a transformative renovation. Season 65 features performances of Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony, Beethoven's Sixth Symphony & Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 and renowned soloists including Maria Ioudenitch, Madeline Adkins, Eleni Calenos, José González Granero and more. Festival favorite Capathia Jenkins returns to celebrate the Fourth of July with the Festival Orchestra in this festive Jackson Hole tradition. Conductor Donato Cabrera makes his GTMF debut, leading a program of patriotic & American music including Copland, Sousa, John Williams and more.

Free and open to the public! On the Road brings live classical music to audiences in Teton County and surrounding communities through free concerts performed by Festival Orchestra musicians and hosted with our community partners.
Brass Under Blues Skies: Revel in the majestic sounds of the GTMF Brass Quintet while the sun sets behind the mountains at the Murie Ranch. This program will feature classical favorites, nostalgic jazz, and music that celebrates the great outdoors.

On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress approved the Declaration of Independence inside the Pennsylvania State House (now Independence Hall) in Philadelphia.Four days later, on July 8, 1776, after the Declaration was printed and distributed, the citizens of Philadelphia were summoned to the State House Yard by the bells of the city. Then, Colonel John Nixon publicly read the Declaration of Independence.Americans in all 50 States and 16 Territories of the United States will read the Declaration of Independence ‘together’ on July 8, 2026. Even though the United States is spread across thousands of miles and nine different time zones, all of us in America may read the Declaration of Independence ‘together’, at the ‘same’ time on July 8 at 4:00pm MDT.We will read the Declaration at the Museum Pavilion, and we will be joined by the Saratoga Community Choir to led us in patriotic song.

Opening night of the Festival Orchestra Series features not one but two popular monuments of the orchestral canon. Montana native and 2021 Donald Runnicles Musical Arts Scholarship Competition winner Tanner Jorden returns to the Grand Teton Music Festival to perform Rachmaninoff’s timeless and melodically rich Second Piano Concerto. Rounding out the program is Tchaikovsky’s dramatic symphonic reckoning with the immensities of fate.
