Sundance - WPR (91.5)

91.5 (WPR)  in Sundance are experiencing problems with audio delivery.  We are sending engineering personnel to the transmitter site to attempt to remedy the problem.  Some listeners may be able to listen to 90.9 in Gillette.  If possible you can listen to WPR online at wyomingpublicmedia.org and WY Sounds at wyomingsounds.org  until the problem is corrected.   Thank you for your patience. 

Newcastle -  WPR (90.5 )

90.5 (WPR)  in Newcastle are experiencing problems with audio delivery.  We are sending engineering personnel to the transmitter site to attempt to remedy the problem.  If possible you can listen to WPR online at wyomingpublicmedia.org and WY Sounds at wyomingsounds.org  until the problem is corrected.   Thank you for your patience.

Worland -  WPR (93.3 ) and WY Sounds (94.1)

93.3 (WPR) and 94.1 (WY Sounds) in Worland are experiencing problems with audio delivery.  We are sending engineering personnel to the transmitter site to attempt to remedy the problem.  If possible you can listen to WPR online at wyomingpublicmedia.org and WY Sounds at wyomingsounds.org  until the problem is corrected.   Thank you for your patience.

Streaming (On-air and Phone Apps)

We have outgrown our current streaming system which is causing stream disconnects and dropouts.  We have contracted with a new streaming company to handle our growing online audience.  We hope to have everything up and running by March 27th.  Thank you for your patience.

Afton WPR (91.3 )

91.3 (WPR) in Afton is experiencing problems with the transmitter.  We are sending engineering personnel to the transmitter site to attempt to remedy the problem.  If possible you can listen to WPR online at wyomingpublicmedia.org until the problem is corrected.   Thank you for your patience.  

  • Update (04-02-20)  This problem has been corrected.

Rawlins WPR (88.9 )

88.9 (WPR) in Rawlins is off the air due to a power failure.  For now programming has been moved to 89.9.   Thank you for your patience.  

  • Update (2-28-20):  We will continue to broadcast WPR on both 88.9 and 89.9 through 2020.  We have applied with the FCC to upgrade the 89.9 facility to a higher power level.  When power is increased we will provide Classical WY on 88.9.

Rock Springs WPR (90.5 )

WPR on 90.5 in Rock Springs is currently experiencing some delay issues between our analog signal and our HD signal.  You will only notice this if you are listening on an HD receiver.  To temporary remedy this problem disably HD in your radio.  This is normally in a settings menu.

UPDATE:  (04-09-20)  This issue has been corrected.
