The Wyoming Senate voted 19 to 10 to strip Cheyenne Sen. Anthony Bouchard of his committee assignments. Senate President Dan Dockstader said Bouchard was being removed for a “continued pattern of intimidating and disorderly conduct and other behavior which is unbecoming of a member of the senate.”

Dockstader said Bouchard committed a vulgar attack on a member of the senate and was filming people as a threatening measure.

Using intimidating tactics against members of the Senate and members of the public. All of this impugns the integrity of the legislative bodies which leads to a lack of respect for the Senate and the House,” said Dockstader.

Bouchard said he’s not surprised and he told the Senate, “that it’s always an attack on someone’s free speech that you don’t like.” Bouchard admitted he did threaten hospital lobbyists to use video, showing their fear tactics against COVID-19 legislation. He said that’s free speech.
