Eralys Wallace
News InternEralys Wallace is an undergraduate student at the University of Wyoming majoring in Environment and Natural Resource's with a concurrent major in Environmental Systems and Sciences at the Haub School with minors in Honors, Sustainability, and Natural Values. She’s a lifelong WPR listener with an avid passion for environmental issues, early education, media, and journalism. In her free time she enjoys plants, service, the earth, music, art, acting, performance, sustainability, hiking, hammocking, the outdoors, and writing. Eralys looks forward to bringing you stories and experiences from around her fantastic home state of Wyoming.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Wildlife Health Laboratory tested more than 5,300 samples in 2025. It detected chronic wasting disease in 3 new deer and 6 new elk hunt areas.
