Candidate For Governor Mark Gordon Says The State Needs To Live Within Its Means

Mark Gordon

Wyoming State Treasurer Mark Gordon is looking for a promotion. Gordon is among those who are seeking the Republican nomination for governor.

Before first being appointed treasurer following the death of Joe Meyer, Gordon was a Johnson County rancher and a small businessman. He tells Bob Beck that he got into the race for a variety of reasons, including finding creative ways to enhance Wyoming’s revenue, while trying to help the state live within its means.

Bob Beck retired from Wyoming Public Media after serving as News Director of Wyoming Public Radio for 34 years. During his time as News Director WPR has won over 100 national, regional and state news awards.
