The Wyoming Outdoor Council's River Bash event is a celebration of Wyoming’s rivers, streams, and the healthy watersheds that sustain them. Join community members, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts for an evening of community and fun by the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie River.

The Children’s Advocacy Project invites community members to get tickets to the annual CAP, Cabernet, & Calcutta event on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Best Western Downtown Casper, 123 W E St, Casper, WY 82601. You’re invited to join The Nature Conservancy’s annual guided community hike to the summit of Heart Mountain, in the Cody/Powell area! Enjoy panoramic views, spring wildflowers and wildlife watching on the eight-mile round-trip hike at Heart Mountain Ranch Preserve.
No advance registration is needed, and all are welcome at this free event.
Please note that the hike is strenuous.
Follow signs from the entrance of the preserve to the trailhead parking lot. Please be prepared for varied weather conditions, and remember that Heart Mountain is in bear country.

Hosted by our local instructor Dr. Elizabeth Lynch, this course will prepare you for the rewarding experience of therapy animal work. You'll learn everything you need to know to become a confident and successful handler, from visit best practices to evaluation preparation. And did we mention, it's FREE? The online equivalent costs $80.
