Geared for listeners ages one through five, Musical Adventures provides a fun environment for children and their caregivers to enjoy music and play along, led by Stoner Family Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich. Thursdays in July & August. Top Jackson Hole yoga instructors conduct weekly summer classes outside on the south part of the Sculpture Trail (parking lot to your left as you come up the hill). Participants will feel inspired doing Sun Salutations and Downward Dogs as they look across the grand vista of the National Elk Refuge. Join us in connecting with two art forms—visual art inspired by artists over the centuries, and the art of yoga, ensuring healthy mind, body, and spirit. All levels welcome. Free.

Celebrate the opening night of GTMF’s 65th season with the music of Broadway and film performed by the Festival Orchestra. Familiar favorites and iconic scores take center stage with themes from Carousel, Superman, Vertigo, and a celebration of iconic American film composer John Williams, with music from Jurassic Park, Star Wars and more. Conductor Donato Cabrera makes his GTMF debut.

In Summer 2026, the Grand Teton Music Festival celebrates its 65th anniversary season led by Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Featuring seven weeks of world-class music – including programs by the Festival Orchestra, three Gateway Series presentations, and five Benoliel Chamber Music Series concerts, plus free family, education, and community engagement presentations – the season celebrates the stunning natural beauty of Jackson Hole as its home, Walk Festival Hall, undergoes a transformative renovation. Season 65 features performances of Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony, Beethoven's Sixth Symphony & Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 and renowned soloists including Maria Ioudenitch, Madeline Adkins, Eleni Calenos, José González Granero and more. Series packages on sale now at gtmf.org; single tickets go on sale April 7.

Stop by Fort Laramie to view Wyoming Public Media's Wyoming 250 Photo Contest Exhibit. The opening reception on July 4th features a presentation by Donovin Sprague, Wyoming author:

POWDER RIVER EXPEDITION INTO LAKOTA CHEYENNE COUNTRY

Donovin Sprague will give an overview of the Powder River Expedition through eastern Wyoming and events as they met key historic figures and traveled into Lakota Cheyenne country. Donovin is a faculty instructor at Sheridan College and is Minnicoujou Lakota and Cheyenne,

After the talk, guests can enjoy light refreshments and enjoy the Wyoming's History Through Listeners' Eyes photo exhibit. (View the virtual exhibit online). The exhibit will travel around Wyoming throughout 2026.

Free and open to the public, the talk starts at 10 am at the Fort Laramie Historic Site. Stop by to pick up a free calendar and sonic bison ear buds! All are welcome.
