Wyoming 4 Palestine is a group with members across the state that advocates for freedom of Palestinians. They’ve held teach-ins about the Israel-Hamas war and organized a protest at the state capitol earlier this year. Recently, two of their members traveled to the West Bank, an area of Palestinian territory that’s occupied by Israel.

Wyoming students gathered to hold a nearly 10-hour vigil on campus as large protests of similar nature have sprung up around the country.

Wyomingites joined a national day of protest in calling for a ceasefire, but Wyoming Democrats and Republicans have yet to change course.

A group of University of Wyoming (UW) students is collecting signatures for a petition to convince Wyoming’s U.S. congressional delegation to vote against a bill recently introduced in congress by Montana Rep. Ryan Zinke. It would expel Palestinians living in the U.S. and prohibit others from entering.
