Budget Session

Going into the state budget session, a group of lawmakers backed projects to support fisheries and manage species like cheatgrass throughout the state. But actually funding some of them is a bit uncertain.

A state budget agreement was reached Tuesday night after the last attempt to negotiate differences between the House and Senate versions failed. It now heads to both chambers for presentations.
