WPM will partner with Wyoming PBS in a two year grant awarded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to report on energy-related issues in the Rocky Mountain area. Wyoming will join public broadcasters in Colorado and North Dakota to provide coverage of energy that explores tradeoffs and opportunities, and the effects of energy policy, production, use and innovation.
While originating with a focus on the energy boom states of Wyoming, Colorado, and North Dakota and Wyoming, the reporting will explore issues of national interest and importance.
WPR and Wyoming PBS will share a reporter to cover energy topics throughout the state for radio, television, and online.
CPB’s grant will expand reporting resources for both WPM and Wyoming PBS and give both Wyoming broadcasters an opportunity to work together on specific projects.
