Gov. Mark Gordon announced he has relaxed several public health orders, as well as the complete removal of one. The changes will go into effect on March 1.
The public health order that applies to personal care services, like barber shops and nail salons, will be entirely lifted. Those businesses will however need to continue to comply with the statewide mask protocol.
Restaurants and theaters will see some restrictions eased. For example, buffets and self-service will be allowed once again, and groups of ten will be able to sit together.
Attendance limits for both indoor and outdoor events will also increase.
In a press release, Gordon credited the relaxing of COVID-19 protocols to improvement in various Wyoming metrics, including case count and hospitalizations.
