Google Maps

The Wyoming Public Health Laboratory has identified seven new cases of COVID-19.

The Wyoming Department of Health says the cases are in Fremont County and are connected to a previous person who is currently being treated in Lander.

State and county officials said earlier this week that they were concerned about community spread following their investigation of that weekend case. It pushes the number of cases that have been confirmed in the state to ten.

In a news release, the department said it is continuing to follow up on exposure risks of the new cases.  They say known contacts will be monitored and tested as needed.
