The Shoshone Rose Casino And Hotel Reopens

Signa McAdams

The Shoshone Rose Casino and Hotel near Lander is reopening. After over 400 days of being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Casino Marketing and Hospitality manager Jamie Williams says they are ready to welcome patrons back.

Williams said, although it's been a lot of work, they are ready to welcome patrons back at full capacity.

"So there is a tribal community celebration on Thursday, May 6 at 4:00 p.m. and then we are open to the general public on Friday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m."

Williams said while the restaurant and conference room may be temporarily closed, patrons can expect a new menu at the snack bar and hotel improvements. Masks will be required, hand washing stations will be readily available and designated outdoor smoking areas will be clearly marked.

There will be free t-shirts, music, cash giveaways, cake and refreshments to look forward to. For more information, visit the Shoshone Rose Casino and Hotel's website.
