David was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and began college at Santa Clara University. After two years in the Bay Area and a stop in College Station, Texas, he enrolled at the University of Wyoming to study journalism. When he’s not hitting the books, he’s exploring the United States and all of its beauty, or he’s parked on the couch watching football.

University of Wyoming shooting guard Justin James was selected 40th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. He was the first player selected from the University of Wyoming since the Los Angeles Lakers took Larry Nance Jr. in the first round in 2015.

The Wyoming Humanities Council is releasing a new podcast that celebrates the 150-year anniversary of women's suffrage in the state. Wyoming was the first state to give women the right to vote in 1869, and it was on September 6, 1870 that Louisa Swain cast the first ballot by a woman.
