The two biggest legends of country music on the same stage at the same time…Hank Williams and Patsy Cline. Hank Williams: Lost Highway star and 2003 Obie Award winner Jason Petty re-creates the role he has become famous for, while renowned vocalist Gail Bliss star of Just A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline gives a jaw-dropping performance as Patsy Cline.

In a show like no other, Petty and Bliss pay tribute to the two most influential singers in country music history. Over 20 of their chart-topping hits are performed with a live band.

These are the two legends that audience all over the world want to see. Hank Williams and Patsy Cline…as performed by two of the best performers in the country.

This psychological thriller based on Stephen King’s novel Misery follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash and wakes up captive in a secluded home owned by his self-identified “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes. While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads the manuscript of his latest book and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Annie forces Paul to write a new Misery novel and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go. The irate Annie has Paul writing as if his life depends on it – and it does.

The Laramie Urban Sketchers group meets every Saturday at a new location to draw our surroundings. Previous meet-ups have been Downtown Laramie, Laramie Parks, the Wyoming Women's History Museum, local cafes, etc.
We draw the architechture, people, objects, and events around us for two hours, then meet back up to admire everyone's work and talk about our sketching that day.
It's a welcoming group with members of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to document Laramie with our sketchbooks, and build a friendly community of people who like to make art together!

Stephen King's Misery - Pay What You Can Night will be held at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse (2706 E. Pershing Blvd.) on Thursday, November 5th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are general admission. No presale. The Accidental Hero is a multi-media one-man show about Lieutenant Colonel Matt Konop, a WWII American officer who miraculously liberates the Czech villages of his grandparents. It’s a true story written and performed by his grandson, Patrick Dewane.

Patrick’s grandfather refused to talk about his service in the war. When he died, his basement yielded a treasure trove of typewritten accounts, photos, and rare film footage.

Dewane brings this archival material to glowing life as an enthralling, humorous and heartwarming tale of miraculous escapes and astonishing coincidences. This touching show runs from belly laughs to tears. Dewane takes on a dozen different roles as he powerfully recounts his grandfather’s journey from Omaha Beach, the Battle of the Bulge, and the end of WWII. In the last week of the war, Konop’s story turns away from a soldier’s survival tale to something from mythology. He discovers his lost identity and is embraced by the tribe he never knew in an epic homecoming. As he freed the Czechs, he too, was liberated.
