Museums are popular vacation destinations. When the government isn’t closed, a family trip to Washington, D.C. isn’t complete without a visit to one of the Smithsonian museums. But Dr. Elizabeth Weiser from the Ohio State University is looking at deeper meaning in these public spaces: how they reflect and shape national identity.
