Wyoming Opens Vaccine Eligibility To General Public

All Wyoming residents ages 16 and older are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Each of the three different vaccines are free, and insurance is not required to receive one. However, residents ages 16 and older are only eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, while those ages 18 and up are eligible for all three.

In a press release, Gov. Mark Gordon expressed his appreciation for public health workers, health care providers and pharmacies throughout the state.

"I would encourage every resident to take advantage of the vaccines, as Jennie and I have, and help Wyoming move closer to ending this pandemic," he said.

More information on how to schedule an appointment can be found on the Wyoming Department of Health's website.
