Legalizing pot? Mead says no

While Colorado has legalized marijuana, Governor Matt Mead has no interest in seeing Wyoming do the same.  During a recent conference call with reporters, Mead was asked if he would support legalizing marijuana in the state.  His answer was no.

“One of the arguments of course you hear with regard to marijuana is that it’s no worse than alcohol.  I don’t necessarily agree with that, but even if that was the case I am not interested in adding another substance that we have to fight with from everything to driving impaired to the other social costs that goes with it.”

Mead says Colorado will likely have some legal and social issues to deal with
under the new law.
