Thursdays in July & August. Top Jackson Hole yoga instructors conduct weekly summer classes outside on the south part of the Sculpture Trail (parking lot to your left as you come up the hill). Participants will feel inspired doing Sun Salutations and Downward Dogs as they look across the grand vista of the National Elk Refuge. Join us in connecting with two art forms—visual art inspired by artists over the centuries, and the art of yoga, ensuring healthy mind, body, and spirit. All levels welcome. Free.

Celebrate art, creativity, and community at the 11th Annual Festival of the Arts at the beautiful Platte Valley Community Center in Saratoga, Wyoming. The holiday weekend begins with the Artists Gala on Friday, July 3 from 6–8 p.m., followed by the full art show on Saturday, July 4 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sunday, July 5 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.The Festival of the Arts features 31 local and regional artists showcasing an impressive variety of work including 2D art, 3D art, mixed media, and photography. 🖼️ Don’t miss the 45th Annual 2026 Centennial Valley Summer Art Show and Sale, a group art exhibition and free public art show featuring original photography, paintings, pottery, stained glass, sculptures, and more from over 20 local and regional artists from rural South East Wyoming including the Centennial Valley and surrounding communities.
📍 The exhibition is hosted by the Centennial Valley Historical Association at the Nici Self Historical Museum in Centennial, Wyoming, located about 30 miles west of Laramie and 45 miles east of Saratoga at 2734 Wyoming Highway 130.
⭐ A portion of the proceeds from every sale is donated to the Nici Self Historical Museum as part of their main annual fundraiser.

On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress approved the Declaration of Independence inside the Pennsylvania State House (now Independence Hall) in Philadelphia.Four days later, on July 8, 1776, after the Declaration was printed and distributed, the citizens of Philadelphia were summoned to the State House Yard by the bells of the city. Then, Colonel John Nixon publicly read the Declaration of Independence.Americans in all 50 States and 16 Territories of the United States will read the Declaration of Independence ‘together’ on July 8, 2026. Even though the United States is spread across thousands of miles and nine different time zones, all of us in America may read the Declaration of Independence ‘together’, at the ‘same’ time on July 8 at 4:00pm MDT.We will read the Declaration at the Museum Pavilion, and we will be joined by the Saratoga Community Choir to led us in patriotic song.

The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is accepting applications for a skilled woodcarver to create a unique arborglyph from a large stump on our property. We are looking for ideas that draw inspiration from the natural world, whether they are your vision of the High Plains West, naturally occurring abstract shapes, garden and landscape features, or wildlife interpretations. Let your imagination be guided by the wood's shape.
Project Specifics:
The stump is 15 feet tall, with a diameter of two feet at the base and a thinner top Submissions open from April 24th through July 31, 2026
Budget:
about $3,000 + travel costs
Rules:
Family-friendly artwork is required While creativity is welcomed, bears and bare butts are not.
It must be appropriate for long-term outdoor display
