National Wreaths Across America Day is December 13. The Jacques Laramie Chapter Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) joined with VFW Post 2221, WyoTech, other Laramie Businesses and organizations and countless individual donors to raise funds to purchase 700 wreaths to place on veteran graves at Laramie's Greenhill Cemetery. Members of the Laramie community are invited to join us for opening ceremonies begin at 11 am at the GAR monument and help lay wreaths. The placement of wreaths on gravesites acknowledges the empty space at so many family tables representing a veteran who has been lost and honors their service to this nation.
