SCLT Discovery Session: Big Goose Natural Area History and Land Tour - Sheridan
Step behind the scenes at the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area with Kevin Knapp, History Program Manager, and John Graves, Director of Conservation & Resource Management. Explore the stories of the land—from Camp Cloud Peak and K.N. Garden to archaeological survey findings, the historic streetcar, and more.
You’ll also see conservation in action, including wildlife-friendly fencing, virtual fencing, invasive plant treatments, forage improvements, stream restoration, and other stewardship practices landowners can use across Sheridan County.
Plus, get a look inside the new Welcome Center and enjoy a spring morning on the land.
Helpful information about this Discovery Session:
• Short hike on moderately flat, mowed trails
