You can help the Communication and Journalism Study Abroad class by joining the Run (or Walk) Like a Cheetah event May 2 in Washington Park. A silent auction with cheetah-related items will be held at the same time.

The goal of the Cheetah Conservation Fund is to protect the remaining 7,000 cheetahs left in the wild. The COJO Study Abroad class will head to CCF headquarters in Namibia in late May so all fundraiser proceeds will be given to that organization.

Adults can sign up for $40 by going to the link: https://runsignup.com/Race/WY/Laramie/RunOrWalkLikeACheetah or groups of 4+ can put GROUP4 in the code at checkout to receive $5 off.

The run is at 8:30 a.m. and the walk is at 9:30 a.m. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a swag bag. The silent auction goes from 9-10:30 a.m. Meet at Washington Park basketball court and Otto Dahl Shelter.

If you can't be there in person, you can join the virtual walk for $10.
