Why support the UWYO Campus Walk?
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in Wyoming among ages 10-34 - and it is preventable. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention leads the fight against suicide. Funds raised from the Out of the Darkness Campus Walks are used to finance research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. Help us save lives and bring hope.
You can provide help by:
- Sponsoring the UWYO Campus Walk and showing our community that you are a voice for suicide prevention
- Registering a UWYO Campus Walk team (afsp.org/UWYO) and joining us on April 13
- Volunteering to serve on the UWYO Campus Walk Planning Committee or to help on the day of the event
- Donating to the UWYO Campus Walk, a Campus Walk team, or an individual walker
- Making a donation for the UWYO Campus Walk Silent Auction
