The Civic Theater Guild in Sheridan is putting on a virtual holiday performance.
The theater group will put on a version of the classic, "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play," but instead of an in-person performance, they've adapted the show to be an actual broadcast.
Co-Director Grace Cannon said actors will social distance at the WYO Theater and the performance will be live-streamed for viewers at home.
"We've in a way, adapted that to an online format because of the world we live in," she said. "So it's sort of like what the original idea was."
Originally, audience members would have been able to interact with the performers during the in-person show.
Cannon said she hopes the event gives people an opportunity to have a holiday experience safely.
"This is a hard time for us all not to be able to do the gathering that we're used to in its many forms. And with that in mind, the theater is no exception," she said. "We've missed being able to get together in large groups and sing christmas carols and things like that. So this provides an outlet for that as well."
The performance will be held virtually on December 11-13.
