The Pinedale Roundup writes the Portland Cello Project will be performing "Purple Reign - A Tribute to Prince" on Thursday. The music will be directly influenced by Prince, and two musicians who worked with the singer will also be joining the performance.

According to Oil City News, a psychic medium from Travel Channel will be performing her first paranormal investigation in Wyoming from May 5 - 7. Sarah Lemos will be at a fundraiser for an expansion project at the Fort Caspar Museum. Audience members will be allowed to participate in several of the planned activities.

Highland Park Elementary School first-graders took the first steps in implementing a school garden last week with a seed-starting class. The Sheridan Press reports the students toured a greenhouse at the University of Wyoming Extension, learning the growing process from beginning to end, followed by hands-on learning in the UW Extension lab. Rooted in Wyoming also helped facilitate the project, which will end with students eventually eating food from the school garden in their school-prepared lunch.

Ivy started as a science news intern in the summer of 2019 and has been hooked on broadcast ever since. Her internship was supported by the Wyoming EPSCoR Summer Science Journalism Internship program. In the spring of 2020, she virtually graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in biology with minors in journalism and business.
