Enjoy a relaxing morning of yoga in The Park at Ucross with instructor Tressa Lawrence. Starting at 10 a.m., Tressa will lead an hour-long yoga class for all levels. Each class requires a $10 entrance fee. This fee will include the guided-yoga, a free beverage at the Ucross Café, and entry into a raffle for a Ucross tote.

Attendees are encouraged to bring water, their own yoga mat or towel, and extra layers.

​The Park at Ucross is located on the intersection of Highways 14 and 16. Spaces are limited and these classes are weather-dependent.

This four-day celebration of art, culture, music, food, and family-friendly fun brings thousands of visitors to downtown Casper each year and remains a highlight of the summer season.

UW Summer High School Institute is a three-week pre-college summer camp for current Wyoming high school sophomores. Accepted students will be able to take two college-like courses while exploring what UW has to offer by living in the dorms and getting to know campus. Students will also get to explore Laramie and Fort Collins.

On Tuesday, June 9th, and Wednesday, June 10th, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band brings ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farewell Tour to The Center Theater. For nearly six decades, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has entertained audiences with their top-shelf musicianship and timeless hits.

Formed in 1966 as a Long Beach, California jug band, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band scored its first charting single in 1967 and its first major hit in 1971 with “Mr. Bojangles.” Today’s group consists of founding member Jeff Hanna, harp master Jimmie Fadden, and soulful-voiced Bob Carpenter, who has more than 40 years of service in the ensemble. Those veterans are now joined by singer-songwriter-bass man Jim Photoglo, fiddle and mandolin wizard Ross Holmes, and Hanna’s son, the preternaturally talented singer and guitarist Jaime Hanna.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band recently released a new 5-song EP, “Night After Night,” the band’s first release of all-new music since 2009’s “Speed of Life.” The Farewell Tour isn’t goodbye forever, but it will be the last fans see of multi-city runs and long bus rides.

Teton County Pet Partners (TCPP) is hosting a team evaluation on Tuesday, May 26th. This is where you and your pet demonstrate that you are a good fit for therapy animal work. Each team will have a 20-30 minute time slot.

Note: To sign up for the evaluation, you’ll first need to complete the Pet Partners Therapy Animal Handlers Course. It’s offered online and now in person too!

Our therapy animal teams bring joy and comfort to various organizations like hospitals, schools, libraries, and more.

Join Wyoming SBDC Network, IMPACT 307, and the Montana Technology Innovation Partnership for a focused, two-part SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab designed to help you develop a competitive Phase I submission. The content will be relevant to all 11 SBIR and 6 STTR agencies, with particular emphasis on DoD, NIH, NSF, DOE, and NASA.

Day 1: On May 28, we’ll cover program fundamentals and outline a structured process for preparing your technical proposal.

Day 2: On June 11, we’ll complete that process and explore key concepts for building a sound cost proposal—ensuring your project budget is accurate and sustainable.

If you are located in Montana or Wyoming, reach out to Ann Peterson or Kelly Haigler Cornish (respectively) to receive pre-submission reviews.
