Wyoming 250 Photo Exhibit and Presentation - Laramie
Stop by the Ivinson Mansion to view WPM's "Wyoming's History Through Listeners' Eyes" Photo Contest Exhibit!
In 2025, Wyoming Public Media invited Wyomingites to get out and take photos of Wyoming’s beautiful scenery, people, and history. The top choices are displayed as part of a traveling exhibit. View glimpses into Wyoming's history from all over the state, ranging from homesteaders to antique automobiles, from bison to early explorers.
Tours of the Ivinson Mansion are offered from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The last tour begins at 3:00 pm. On exhibit through the month of March.
Wyoming Public Media celebrated the premiere viewing of its Wyoming 250 Photo Contest Exhibit with a presentation by Dr. Jeffrey Means, University of Wyoming's History Department Chair on March 11th.
The presentation, "From Bison to Beeves: Cattle Ranching on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, 1868-1920," was part of an opening reception for a photo exhibit featuring winning photos from WPM’s Wyoming’s History Through Listeners’ Eyes Photo Contest. (View the virtual exhibit online). This website also includes a link to a 2026 calendar featuring winning photos that you can download. The exhibit will travel around Wyoming throughout 2026.
