Ucross Community Christmas Celebration
Ucross Community Christmas Celebration
Join us for a festive evening at the annual Ucross Community Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 13, at the Raymond Plank Center. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
The evening will feature live music by The Fireants, along with joyful caroling of the classics by the Buffalo High School Balladiers. Bestselling and beloved Wyoming author Craig Johnson will treat guests to a cozy fireside reading of his annual Christmas short story featuring Walt Longmire. Children can enjoy making a holiday craft to take home. Hot cocoa, coffee, and hot apple cider will be served throughout the celebration along with seasonal treats made by Ucross Chef Jackie Vitale. There will also be a merry marshmallow roasting station outside.
As a special tribute to the season, the evening will conclude with a fireworks display orchestrated by Bruce Burns and cannon fire by Ucross neighbor Joe Reed. The Park at Ucross will glow with thousands of twinkling lights, set up by Powder River Energy Corporation and our team, creating a festive holiday atmosphere.
In the spirit of giving, guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to support local food pantries.
The Ucross Community Christmas Celebration is generously sponsored in part by Roger L. Daniels Insurance Agency, QC10 Architects, In Yarak, AlphaGraphics, and Farmers Insurance.
Space is limited, so reserve your free tickets today. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
