Touch a Truck - Laramie
Mark Your Calendars: Touch a Truck Returns to Laramie!
The Laramie Parks & Recreation Department is thrilled to announce the 8th Annual Touch a Truck event, happening Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Laramie Recreation Center and Ice & Event Center parking lots!
This fun, family-friendly event offers children a hands-on opportunity to explore emergency vehicles, city equipment, and more—while meeting the real-life heroes who operate them. Kids can climb, touch, and learn, making it a perfect day for young imaginations to take the wheel!
Last year, over 250 children received free Touch a Truck t-shirts, and families from across the area joined in for an unforgettable day. This year promises to be even bigger!
What to Expect:
• Fire trucks, police cruisers, mobile library, zamboni, & more!
• Meet-and-greets with first responders and city staff
• Free t-shirts for kids (while supplies last)

This years event is sponsored by Pete Lien & Sons, Inc., Ivinson Memorial Hospital, Rocky Mountain Reclamation, Laramie GM Auto Center, Big Huhnks Excavation, Rocky Mountain Shirtworks, and Murdochs.
Let’s gear up for a day of excitement, discovery, and community connection. We’ll see you there!
